Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Controller
The data controller for Sirkopes (the “Service”) is Oleksandr Saifullin, an individual entrepreneur established in Portugal (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese data-protection law.
2. Your media never leaves your device
Sirkopes processes video and 3D scenes entirely in your browser. The clips you upload to the Shot Cloner and the scenes you build in the Stage Editor are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. The machine-learning models run locally, and any output is generated on your device. Scenes and preferences you choose to keep are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device, not by us.
3. What we do collect
We use third-party analytics and product-experience tools to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. Through these tools we may collect:
- usage and event data (pages viewed, features used, clicks, and similar interactions);
- device and browser information (such as browser type, operating system, screen size, and approximate location derived from your IP address);
- session recordings and heatmaps of interface interactions (which capture how you navigate the interface, not the content of the videos you process).
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect your name, email, or other directly identifying details.
4. Analytics and third-party processors
We rely on the following providers, each acting as a processor or independent controller under their own privacy terms:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — aggregate traffic and usage measurement.
- Amplitude — product-usage and event analytics.
- PostHog — product analytics and feature usage.
- Hotjar — session recordings and heatmaps of interface behaviour.
These providers may set cookies or similar identifiers and may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
5. Legal basis
Where required, we rely on your consent for non-essential analytics and tracking cookies, and on our legitimate interest in maintaining, securing, and improving the Service. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser or cookie settings; doing so does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
6. Cookies
The Service and the analytics tools above use cookies and similar technologies to measure usage and remember preferences. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Service function.
7. Data retention
Analytics data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes described here, in accordance with each provider’s default retention settings. Data held locally in your browser remains until you clear it via the Service or your browser.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, CNPD).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Please review it periodically.
